About Patrik Lienhart

Stockholm-based photographer and artist
(eng)
"Photography is about capturing moments that live on—allowing us to look back, transport a time or place into a new context, and give it new life."
It all began when I captured my first image on photosensitive paper. At an early age, I built my first camera from a simple box, a small hole, and a piece of tape… and the rest is history.
Photography is my passion. The ability to tell stories through images is what drives me. As a photographer, my mission is to transform fleeting moments into timeless art.
Patrik Lienhart’s work is widely recognized for its unique artistic expression. His photography, inspired by travels around the world, captures everything from striking architectural compositions to serene natural landscapes.
Each piece is available in limited editions, accompanied by a certificate of authenticityand Patrik’s signature, ensuring exclusivity and artistic value.

Artwork #051
Hold Each Other
100x150cm
The artwork is anticipated with Patrik standing for a long time and waiting for the moment to take pictures he is waiting for to come. But with this work of art, it was the other way around.
He stood in a position that was great in Dubai at the Marina and where the boats passed. Before he and his family were to go to the desert and have a whole day and afternoon, he stood and waited for the car that would come to their address.
Before them, he stands on the balcony. He has just got out and is looking out over the city. All the skyscrapers but then he looks down from the skyscraper and looks down at the Dubai Marina and sees his picture he's been wanting to take for days but wants it to have something extra in it. Then he looks and sees a couple walking towards his favorite spot.
He thinks "Now!! It's now my picture / the artwork will be created"
He goes in and gets his camera which is packed because they will be out in the desert in a short while and will be picked up by the car. He was only going to look out at the city for a while through the balcony, but at those untimely moments the picture comes to mind.
He was good at shooting at the military and takes out the camera and he packed down, puts it together and then runs out. The couple has just begun to carry the place.
Patrik leans down and leans the lens on the balcony railing and takes a deep breath. Now he clicks and there he has taken a whole picture.
This work of art. The man and woman are in the middle of life in age. He places them there with in the middle of the picture.
They hold each other's hands and you can only see that in the shadow and the shadow they step into at the same time. The hair and eyes are in sync with each other so that they look out into life together.
Shadow is forward.
He sees the benches as the music of life and the water as moving and also still in life.
The lantern / lamp is time. Like a shadow clock. Which he checked during his entire stay in Dubai.
