About Ingela

Artist in Sweden

Ingela Johansson is an artist from Karlstad who found her home in Värmland after seven years in Asia.

She is educated in London and Borås, and works as an artist.
The art is represented in private and public collections, among others at the New Zealand High Commission, Region Värmland, the Swedish Embassy in Singapore and Karlstad Municipality.

Today she works in a studio in Karlstad, as well as a summer studio by Lake Vänern.

The theme is Feeling, color and the connection to nature.
She works in acrylic but also mixed media such as collage and elements of coffee and marble in the painting.

Each session in the studio begins with a meditation, allowing her to create with an intuitive curiosity.
