Angela Johansson is an artist from Karlstad who found her home in Värmland after seven years in Asia.
She is educated in London and Borås and works as a professional artist.
Her work is represented in both private and public collections, including the New Zealand High Commission,
Region Värmland, the Swedish Embassy in Singapore, and Karlstad Municipality.
Currently, she works in a studio in Karlstad, with an additional summer studio by Lake Vänern.
Her art revolves around the themes of feeling, color, and the connection to nature. She primarily works with acrylics but also explores mixed media, including collage and elements of coffee and marble in her paintings.
Each session in her studio begins with meditation, allowing her to create with intuitive curiosity and a free-flowing approach

Angela Johansson – Konstnär från Karlstad
Angela Johansson är en konstnär från Karlstad som fann sitt hem i Värmland efter sju år i Asien.
Hon är utbildad i London och Borås och arbetar som professionell konstnär. Hennes verk finns representerade i både privata och offentliga samlingar, bland annat vid Nya Zeelands Högkommissariat, Region Värmland, den svenska ambassaden i Singapore och Karlstads kommun.
I dag arbetar hon i en studio i Karlstad samt i en sommarstudio vid Vänern.
Konsten kretsar kring teman som känsla, färg och kopplingen till naturen. Hon arbetar främst med akryl men utforskar även blandteknik, inklusive collage och inslag av kaffe och marmor i sina målningar.
Varje arbetsdag i studion börjar med meditation, vilket ger henne möjlighet att skapa med intuitiv nyfikenhet och frihet.
